What to see in Riva del Garda
A thousand and one attractions

Nestled at the foot of Monte Brione and overlooking a picturesque gulf at the extreme north of Lake Garda, Riva has a mild climate that favours typically Mediterranean vegetation. This gem is an attraction for sports enthusiasts who can practice sailing, windsurfing, climbing, road cycling, mountain biking, hiking…just to name a few!

It is also an important cultural destination since the area hosts important works of art and architecture. The Venetian fortress is now home to the civic museum and art gallery, the Apponale tower, Palazzo Pretorio are just a few. Two well-known representations of Baroque art are the Church of the Inviolata and the Church of S. Maria Assunta. Finally, the town is also the stage for prestigious events such as the Garda Jazz Festival and the Notte di Fiaba (Fairy-tale nights).
